This totally depends on the look you are going for! On its own, Triple Threat Tonic provides a very light, non-sticky or crunchy hold. If laying products, we recommend using Triple Threat Tonic first so that it can deliver its strand-strengthening benefits to the strands.

Absolutely! Triple Threat Tonic will help strengthen and provide shine for treated hair. Because this is a water-based formula, we recommend not using it in the strands until the first wash after the treatment has happened in order to ensure that it does not interfere with the treatment.
We also recommend this as a pre-salon treatment for at least two weeks before getting a chemical treatment of any kind done to the hair, as it will build bonds, strengthen strands, and reduce hair damage of the salon treatment.
